An Updated Reviews Policy

I was re-reading the old article I used to link to that contained my thoughts on reviews, monetization, and sponsorships…and realized I didn’t like the tone I used when I wrote it a year and a half ago.

So, I deleted it. And replaced it with this one.

If you’re ever curious about whether I’m paid for a review, the answer is no! I am open to accepting evaluation units from companies, and if I decide to do so it’ll always be stated explicitly in the review text, and the review won’t be monetized in Medium’s paywall. None of the articles I write here are monetized either.

I want my content to be easily accessible, and reflect that I’m more of a “professional enthusiast.” I don’t have any corporate backing, and I’ve mostly self-funded my journey thus far. I’m doing this because I love audio and games and want to share that with you!

Some exciting stuff coming up soon! I actually managed to play more than the first hour of Dragon Quest XI and I might try a Sword Art Online game again oh no?
