A little bit more about my Survey results
Hello!
The reader survey I posted earlier this month is now over! Thanks to all of you who participated.
Its secret purpose was to try and gauge the scope/interests of my audience so I could plan the right balance of different topics in my articles for the next three months or so. I called the articles featured "Possible Articles," because I didn't know if there would be enough interest to write all of them, and I didn't know if *I* would want to write all of them.
Well, as I mentioned in the last post about this, two of the ten are already live, and I've got a third from that group on the way next week...sort of. In fact, here's a big prelude for that.
Here, in no particular order, are some other things I've learned:
*A ton of you are Sennheiser fans
*A ton of you love the DT880.
*A ton of you want me to compare all the $99 studio monitor headphones on the market in one big roundup article. I haven't written an article of this size since my stupid M50X thing, so that one's going to take a while. Look for it in a couple of weeks. Along with that list of my headphone showdowns I mentioned then never got around to compiling.
*Enough of you want me to play Metal Gear Survive that I should probably actually play it. So far I've purchased a copy for PS4, installed it...and that's it. The disc is still in the drive at least. Progress!
*A surprising number of you voted for me to review the Grado SR80e, as I hinted at in my last article. I wasn't really expecting this, considering how polarizing they are in the audio community.
*A lot of you left really good ideas in the additional comments box at the bottom. Rest assured that several of these are now on my "strongly consider" list.
Again, thank you very much to everyone who took my survey. I'm going to run one of these every three months or so, so you'll have another opportunity to vote on my article pitches before you know it!
